L’archaïsme de l’avant garde

10 novembre > 39 novembre 2011

The Françoise Besson Gallery is pleased to present the exhibition devoted to the architect Gilles Perraudin, presented from November 10 to November 29, 2011. This exhibition is a first for the gallery, which is shaking up its usual program devoted to contemporary painting and drawing to show the work of the architect without whom the gallery space would not exist. Françoise Besson, daughter and sister of architect Gilles Perraudin, could not live in an ordinary space. When she decided to set up her family home and art gallery at 10 rue de Crimée, she entrusted the construction to a trustworthy man, who has demonstrated all his know-how in several exemplary projects, both in the region (Lyon School of Architecture, Cité Internationale, Social Housing in La Croix-Rousse,…) and throughout the world (Lebanon, Morocco, Romania, Germany,…).
